The Mayors Achievement Challenge (MAC) is an academic reward program that provides a series of motivational incentives and student support services for the Class of 2010 (current 9th graders).

Sponsored by the Newark Mayor’s Office, Newark Public Schools and Prudential Foundation, MAC aims to inspire students to reach their highest academic potential by acknowledging their educational accomplishments with incentives and rewards throughout high school.

Who's in it

In order to be eligible for the MAC Challenge, you must meet the following requirements:

Enrolled as a student in the Newark Public School district at one of the participating high schools and special academic programs listed below.
A member of the Class of 2010, which is currently registered for the 9th grade for the 2006-07 academic year.
